Saw a guy at the salvage yard in Reno fixing a quarter panel with a tree branch and a ratchet strap
I went looking for a door shell last Tuesday and there he was, clamping a bent branch against the panel to hold tension while he worked the metal. Honestly it was working better than my slide hammer, has anyone else seen backyard tricks like that actually hold up?
Ever try the rope and tire trick for pulling dents? A buddy of mine swore by it on his old truck and the panel came out decent enough for a $500 beater.
