That brake job in Tucson that nearly got me fired

Last month I was doing a pad slap on a 2014 Civic in Tucson and everything seemed fine. I didn't clean the caliper slides good enough and the inner pad seized up on the test drive. Customer came back screaming about a dragging brake and smoke pouring out. Now I pull every caliper bracket and wire brush the slides with brake cleaner every single time before reassembly. Any of you guys had a quick job turn into a nightmare like that?

Wire brushing the pins saved my ass on an Accord last winter.

Yeah man, wire brush saves the day on those crusty connectors every time. @the_robin knows what's up, those Accord pins get nasty with all the road salt and moisture. Had a Civic last month where a single corroded pin was killing the crank signal, couple passes with a brass brush and it fired right up. Stuff like that makes you appreciate the simple fixes that actually work.

Rarely works that clean on a modern car.
