Tossed $120 on a valve cover gasket kit from Amazon that leaked within a week

Installed it on a 2010 Honda Civic for a customer last Thursday in Dallas, and by Monday they were back with oil dripping on the exhaust. Has anyone else had bad luck with cheap gasket kits from online stores?

Yeah mine leaked faster than my coffee did this morning.

Bold move calling it a leak when mine just evaporated into thin air. Guess that's the new normal for these things. Still beats running to the store every morning though.

Read somewhere these new models are basically designed to fail after a year.
