I used to chase every wire by hand, now the $89 toner box does it in one shot
Back in 2011 at a hangar in Wichita I'd spend a whole shift buzzing out a bundle with a multimeter, labeling each end with tape and a Sharpie, and still find a crossed pin at sign-off. These days I clip the tone generator on one end, wave the wand down the run, and the right wire sings back at me in maybe 20 minutes flat. Anyone else miss the old hunt a little, or am I the only one who still keeps a meter in the bag just in case?
