Saw the inside of a lightning strike hit panel at PDX and now I double check every ground strap
After a strike on a 737 back in March tore a path through the composite skin and fried three LRUs, I started pulling every bonding strap on preflight and have caught two loose ones since, anyone else do more than just a visual tug since seeing one up close?

Pulling every strap on every preflight is just overthinking it, honestly. The factory tour people and the maintenance manuals tell you a visual check is fine, and the odds of catching a loose one that would actually matter are slim to none. Plus, once you start second guessing every bond strap, you open the door for missing something else that's actually broken. A lightning hit is a freak event, and chasing ghosts after it just burns time you could spend on the real stuff. If it passes the tug test, it's good enough, plain and simple.
