Walked through a hangar at Wiley Post Airport and counted 4 planes with the same static wick problem, so is it lazy work or just how it goes?

Four planes with the same static wick problem in one hangar is a lot. Question is whether they're all parked at the same shop waiting on the same guy. If one A&P did all four, that tells you something. If they came from four different places, then maybe it's a parts batch issue or the wicks are just cheap junk. What years and makes were they?
