A vendor in Columbus told me they track how fast I reply to their emails, and I think he was doing me a favor
I was on a call with a packaging supplier in Columbus who mentioned they sort inbound leads by reply time, and anyone past 24 hours goes to the bottom of the pile. It made me pull our own numbers, and our average first response was sitting at 31 hours. Curious if other people here have set a hard cap on response time, and what number actually works for you.
Wait, did he say they actually sort leads that way, or just that they notice reply speed when choosing who to work with? Cuz those are pretty different things. Most suppliers I've talked to care way more about whether you're a real buyer than how fast you hit send.
