Hit 47 discovery calls booked from cold email and my brain short circuited

Started a small B2B lead gen thing on the side about 8 months ago, mostly for SaaS founders who hate prospecting. I was grinding through my CRM last Tuesday and the counter on my dashboard said 47 calls booked for the month, which was double what I'd ever done before. Turned out one client's case study got picked up in a niche Slack group in Austin and suddenly my reply rate jumped from 2 percent to almost 9. I sat there staring at the number for like 10 minutes wondering if the tracking was broken. Anyone else had a weird spike like that come out of nowhere and then totally disappear the following month?

Did you screenshot that dashboard number before it changed on you? I ask because that exact thing happened to me last spring and I still kick myself for not saving proof. One post in a random group and my replies tripled for like three weeks, then it went right back to normal and I felt like I made the whole thing up. It's a real mind trip when the numbers move that fast and you can't explain why. Enjoy the spike while it lasts though, cause that kind of luck doesn't stick around long.
