Shoutout to the cheap plastic shed I ignored for 4 years
I spent $600 on a wooden shed from Home Depot back in 2019 thinking it would look nicer. After 2 winters of warped doors and a leaky roof, I finally swapped it for a $250 resin model from Lowe's. The plastic one has been dry as a bone through 3 straight weeks of rain here in Portland. Anybody else learn the hard way that looks don't always beat function?

My $400 metal shed from Amazon started rusting within a year. Replaced it with a $200 resin one and it's been solid for 3 years now through those constant Pacific Northwest storms.

Dude same here. My pretty wooden shed was a nightmare while the cheap plastic one just works.

Resin is kind of a specific type of plastic though, not a separate category from plastic entirely. It's all just different forms of polymer at the end of the day. Point stands though, whatever it's made of beats the rust issue.
