Took me 3 weekends to figure out my shed was sitting on a underground water pipe

Built a 10x12 shed 2 years ago and it started shifting every spring, finally dug down after tearing my hair out and found a old irrigation pipe nobody told me about. Has anyone else hit something buried that cost you way more time than the actual project?

Honestly, I've hit stuff before but it was never that big of a deal. Like I hit a old concrete block putting fence posts in and it took maybe an extra hour to dig it out and move it. Three weekends and a shifting shed sounds like you were pretty unlucky but also maybe overthinking it a bit. Ngl most people just pour a concrete pad or use gravel and call it good without digging six feet down first. Tbh if your shed is only 10x12 and it shifted over a pipe, you could have just jacked it up and leveled it on some blocks instead of tearing up the whole yard.

Yeah that's a classic and it sucks every time.

I get where you're coming from @scott.olivia, but I actually think it holds up pretty well. The pacing and tension still work for me on rewatches.
