Why does nobody talk about the way shed doors always sag after 2 years?

I built a nice 8x10 utility shed here in Ohio back in 2021, and by last spring the door was scraping the frame so bad I could barely open it. Everyone focuses on shelves and roofs but the door hinges are where it falls apart. I ended up adding some heavy duty corner brackets and a third hinge, and now it swings perfect. Has anyone else had to rebuild their shed door after a couple seasons?

That line about "door hinges are where it falls apart" hits different now because I used to think any hinge would do the trick (spoiler: they won't). After watching my own door start sagging and scraping the frame here in Michigan, I slapped on some heavy duty brackets and a third hinge too, and it totally changed how I look at basic shed hardware. The fix is simple but it really makes you wonder why nobody warns you about this before you build the thing.

What about just using better hinges from the start though?

Glad you caught that before the whole door gave out on you.
