Can we talk about those viral "life hacks" that just wreck your tools?

I saw a reel last month where someone used a screwdriver to pry open a paint can lid and I cringed so hard, because I did that exact thing for years and bent every cheap screwdriver I owned. What finally tipped me off was when a neighbor handed me his proper 5-in-1 painter's tool and I got the lid off in 3 seconds flat with zero damage. Anyone else have a hack they followed that just made things worse in the long run?

Those hacks work fine if you buy tools meant for actual use instead of the cheapest junk at the hardware store.
