Got called out for leaving half my deck wet after a job and it taught me to actually pay attention to overspray
A customer filmed me walking away with water still pooled near her flower beds and sent it to my boss, who then made me redo the whole thing for free before I finally started using a proper surface cleaner with a tighter spray pattern instead of just the wand.

Yeah the flowers are probably the only thing that made it through that whole mess. Nature's weird like that, always finds a way to come back first.

Why would you ever argue against learning from a screw up? Sounds like the customer was right to call him out.
