Hit 1,000 bad takes collected in my bookmarks folder this morning
It started as a joke six months ago to track the worst opinions I saw online, but after scrolling through everything from a guy saying dogs are just tools to someone arguing pizza is better cold than hot, I'm wondering if this is just making me more cynical or if it's actually taught me something about how people think, so has anyone else done something similar and noticed a pattern in the crazy takes?

My friend saved one saying sleep is a waste of time.

That's honestly wild to me, @nelson.wren. Doesn't your friend feel like garbage after a few days of skipping sleep? I get that some people think they're being productive, but your brain literally cleans itself out while you sleep. Missing that just builds up crap in your head. Did your friend ever actually try going without sleep for a long stretch? I've heard stories of people crashing hard after a week or two of that nonsense.

Sleep is a waste of time"... that's like saying eating is optional. People always find one extreme take and act like it's the truth for everyone. I swear it ties into how nobody seems to understand balance anymore, everything has to be all or nothing.
