That YouTuber's "moisture meter is useless" take cost me a deck rebuild
Back in April a guy with 200k subs said those pin meters were overpriced toys, so I skipped testing the joists on a rental in Portland and now I'm replacing rotted wood that the visual check completely missed, has anyone else been burned by a confident influencer calling professional gear a gimmick?
