I finally hit 100 perfect macarons in a row after 2 years of cracked shells.

I was just trying to get one good batch for a friend's party, but after my 99th try, the next ten trays all came out with smooth tops and full feet. Has anyone else had a random streak like that after so much failure?

My friend had a run like that too, @harperr82. She went from constant fails to a whole month of perfect batches out of nowhere. Makes you wonder if the baking gods just flip a switch sometimes.

Oh man, I know exactly how that feels! I had a whole year where my macarons would always stick to the pan... then out of nowhere, three weekends in a row with zero issues. It's like the oven just decided to behave.
