Appreciation post: How a cheap sketchpad made client cuts clearer

I kept missing the mark when guys explained their haircut ideas... so I grabbed a small sketchpad from the store. Now I doodle the style they talk about while we chat. It turns vague words into a picture we both get. This little habit cut my do-overs in half and clients dig the visual aid.

Totally get what you mean about vague words into a picture. I tried to explain a weird dream I had last week and just gave up and drew it on a napkin. Suddenly it made perfect sense.
