Blew $340 on a cordless clipper that dies mid fade, my $60 backup outlasts it
Bought the hyped one off a YouTube review, and it crapped out 20 minutes into a Saturday rush with a guy in the chair. Anyone got a cordless that actually holds a charge through a full day, or am I stuck with cords forever?
$340 is wild when you think about how many of these "game changer" tools are just riding a wave. Same thing happened with those fancy beard trimmers a couple years back, everyone swore by the $200 one and half of them quit after 6 months. It's not just clippers either, it's everything now, the $400 espresso machine that leaks, the $250 air fryer that stops heating. We keep paying more for stuff that does less, and the cheap one in the drawer just keeps going. Feels like the price tag is mostly for the review video, not the motor.
