Had a wild Thursday at the shop in Springfield where I did 22 cuts back to back
My usual Thursday is maybe 10 appointments, but this week a big wedding party booked the whole afternoon and we got slammed. I was using my Andis Masters the whole time and my hand was cramping by the 18th fade. Has anyone else had a single day that just blew past your normal numbers and how did you handle the pace?

Man, 22 cuts is no joke. I had a day like that last summer when a whole baseball team came in before playoffs. My trick was to keep a towel soaked in cold water nearby to wrap my clipper hand during any 30 second break. It sounds weird but it stopped the cramps from getting worse. I also switched to a lighter trimmer for the last few lineup details just to give my grip a change. You gotta find those little moments to reset.

Used to just power through the hand cramps and call it part of the job. That cold towel trick is a total game changer though, never would have thought of it. Switching tools mid-day to save your grip makes so much sense when you put it like that. Gonna try both of those moves next time my book is slammed.

That cold towel trick saved my hands last holiday season.
