PSA: my bathroom remodel hit $4,800 and I'm only halfway done

I budgeted $5k for a 5x8 bathroom in my Cleveland duplex and I'm already $4,800 deep with just the tub, tile, and vanity in, so has anyone else blown their whole number before the toilet even got set?

Honestly if you'd hired a pro you'd be at 12k by now, so blowing your budget just means you're doing it the smart way. The real problem is thinking 5k was ever enough for a full gut job in this econo
