That $25 security camera caught my landlord entering without notice

Rented a place in Austin last spring. Landlord said he'd give 24 hours notice before coming in, standard stuff. I got a cheap Wyze cam for $25 to keep an eye on my cat while I was at work. Two months in, I get a notification at 11am on a Tuesday. He walked in, looked around my bedroom, opened a closet, took photos, then left. Never told me. I pulled the clip, sent it to him, and he went silent. Then he tried to evict me over a false noise complaint. I sent the video to the property management and the lease magically ended without a penalty. Cost me $25 and saved me a $2,000 security deposit dispute. Anyone else caught a landlord or property manager doing something they shouldn't have with a cheap cam?

Glad you had that footage, that whole situation sounds sketchy as hell and landlords pulling stuff like that is way too common. Good on you for documenting it and not backing down.
