The Jim Morrison exhibit at the Paris library felt like a mausoleum for a brand
I finally made it to that big Morrison showcase they run in the 6th arrondissement, and I swear it's 90% leather pants and fake mystique. There's a glass case with his old notebook, but the notes are just scribbles, and they've got a looped interview playing on repeat that basically worships every mumbled line. It cost me 12 euros, and I spent more time reading the gift shop prices than actually learning anything new about the guy. The whole thing feels like they're selling you a ghost, not remembering a person who wrote some decent poems and made a lot of noise. Has anyone else walked through a dead celebrity's curated shrine and felt like they were at a pop-up store for a brand that never actually existed?

The REAL magic is in those scribbles and leather, you just missed the point.
