Swapped a $12 headset for a $60 one on a customer's bike last week
The cheap one had visible play after 200 miles. The Cane Creek bearings feel like they actually seat right. Anyone else find that budget headsets are basically disposable parts now?

@brooke_jones totally, budget headsets are basically single-use plastics now.

You ever try torquing those cheap ones to spec? Half the time they bind up or creak no matter what you do.
