Vent: The customer who watched me change a tire and told me I was doing it wrong
Had a guy at the shop last Tuesday who stood over my shoulder while I swapped his flat, then said I should "use tire levers backwards" because he saw it on YouTube. I just handed him the tools and said go for it, he popped three tubes in five minutes. Anyone else get armchair mechanics who have never turned a wrench?

Three popped tubes in one session is rough for sure, but I dunno, I think sticking around after that shows he actually wanted to learn. Most guys would just peace out and never come back, you know?

Ask him if he paid for those three popped tubes or if he just slunk off to his car after that. I'm genuinely curious if the lesson actually sunk in or if he still thinks YouTube magic beats real experience.
