Binged Succession and Succession (UK) back to back - night and day difference

Watched the US Succession first, then tried the UK version last week. The UK one felt so stiff and slow, what makes the US version just click so much better for everyone?

...and my attention span is so short the UK version felt like watching paint dry in slow motion.

Mate I feel that so hard. What actually helped me was watching with subtitles on and speed at 1.25x. Keeps my brain engaged and stops me from zoning out. Also taking breaks between episodes instead of binging made a huge difference.
