Binging a drama about family secrets made me open up to my own sister
I just finished this intense show about two siblings uncovering hidden truths, and it was all I watched for three days straight. The way they slowly talked things out after years of silence really stuck with me. I've had this weird tension with my sister over some old holiday argument, and we just stopped bringing it up. Watching those fictional characters hash it out, I felt kinda silly for letting my own stuff fester. So I texted her yesterday, and we actually had a long, honest call for the first time in ages. It wasn't easy, but it cleared the air in a way I didn't expect. Now I'm thinking about how stories on screen can push you to fix things off screen. Maybe that's why some shows feel so heavy to watch, but in a good way.

Come on, a TV show made you fix your family stuff? That's probably just a coincidence. People patch things up without a drama giving them a push all the time. It's not that deep.

The show's finale had a character say the exact thing my sister texted me last year. I mean, sometimes the timing is just weird.

Three days straight... how did you even function at work or anything? That's some serious dedication to a show.

Seriously though, abbyp61 has a point. Were you just running on pure caffeine and willpower, or did you call in sick? I gotta know the secret logistics of pulling that off without getting fired.
