Went back and forth between 'Dark' and 'Money Heist' for weeks
Honestly, I kept seeing everyone rave about both shows on here, but I only had time for one. I picked 'Dark' first because I heard it was more mind-bending, but after 3 episodes I was totally lost. So I switched to 'Money Heist' and binged the whole first season in two nights. The pacing was just easier to follow with the heist structure and character flashbacks. Now I'm curious if anyone else struggled with 'Dark' at the start or if I should give it another shot?

I remember when I first tried 'Dark' I kept a notebook nearby to track all the characters. That got old fast, but I pushed through and by episode 5 something just clicked and I was hooked.

That thing about it clicking around episode 5 is pretty common from what Ive seen. Did you find yourself rewinding earlier episodes after it clicked, or did you just roll with the new understanding? I feel like that moment changes how you see the whole first act.

Totally agree with you on that rewinding thing. I actually went back and watched episodes 1-4 again right after episode 5 hit me. It's crazy how much you miss the first time. @blair_chen81 nailed it about how it changes the first act. Suddenly those weird conversations and glances make total sense. It's like watching a completely different show the second time around.
