Scale said 187 on Monday and I actually laughed out loud
So I've been messing around with this whole biohacking thing for about 14 months now, mostly just tracking sleep and trying to eat more protein, nothing crazy. I weigh myself every Monday morning after using the bathroom but before coffee, same scale I've had since 2019. Two months ago I was sitting at 203. I added creatine monohydrate at 5g a day and started getting 150g of protein, plus I walk 8000 steps minimum. Monday the scale said 187 and I genuinely laughed because I thought it was broken. I stepped off, reset it, stepped back on. 187.2. The funny part is I don't even look that different, my pants fit a little looser but nothing dramatic, which makes me wonder how much of that is water weight and how much is real fat loss. I'm not trying to sell anyone on creatine, it's cheap and boring and it works for me but your mileage may vary. Has anyone else hit a number that felt fake and then had to double check their scale wasn't lying to them?
