Why does nobody mention that your daily multivitamin has more Vitamin A than your liver can handle?
My doctor pulled my blood work a few weeks ago and my liver enzymes were a little off, so she asked what supplements I take. Turns out the multivitamin I've been taking every morning for two years has 3,000 mcg of preformed Vitamin A, which is around 300% of the daily value, and that stuff builds up in your liver because it's fat soluble. Has anyone here actually looked at the actual retinol amount on their label instead of just the percentage, and did you switch to a different form?
