My grandpa always said a cross peen is for starting nails, not driving them. That guy in Tulsa might be in for a sore thumb.

Actually, a cross peen is for shaping metal, not nails.

Oh man, @violag80, that explains the dent in my drywall... I tried using mine as a regular hammer once.
