Caught a news anchor on WGN in Chicago read the wrong city name for 12 seconds straight
Checked the closed captioning version of the same clip and it matched the right script, so the anchor just went off book and nobody in the booth fixed it. My roommate watched the live broadcast version and said the lower third graphic still showed the correct city, which made it funnier. Anyone know how often the chyron and the teleprompter disagree like that?
