This morning's weather report had a green screen fail where the map was stuck on the guy's sweater for 10 seconds

I was half asleep watching the local news in Seattle and the meteorologist was pointing at a heatwave graphic that was literally clipped to his shoulder the whole time. He didn't notice until the anchor started cracking up. Has anyone else caught a live broadcast where the production team just gave up?

A buddy of mine works the control room for a station in Portland. He told me once that if the green screen glitches mid-show, they just let it ride because fixing it live makes it way worse. That heatwave on the shoulder thing? Probably happened during a software update. They just hope nobody notices.

My friend in Denver had a local news clip where the meteorologist was doing a whole spiel about a cold front but the green screen had a huge coffee cup stain from someone the night before. It looked like a giant brown blob was eating the Rockies for like a full minute before they cut to commercial. The anchor deadpanned "well, that's Denver for you" and never addressed it again.
