Thought I could beat the news station at their own game and freeze frame proved me wrong
So I got a little too into that viral clip of the reporter in Austin last week where a goose walked right behind him mid segment. I was convinced the goose was added in by some editor because it moved weird, so I downloaded the clip and went frame by frame on my laptop. Around the 12 second mark the reporter says "as you can see behind me" and right at that second the goose blinks, and I mean the blink lines up with a car passing in the background. I sat there for maybe 40 minutes slowing it down and the whole thing is real, no edit, just a goose living its life. Thing is, when I went to clip out the blink to post it, I noticed the station logo in the corner flickers every 3 seconds, which I never saw at full speed. So now I have a 15 second clip of a real goose and a glitchy logo and no idea which one people will actually care about. Did anyone else dig into that Austin clip, or am I the weird one who watches news at quarter speed?
