Tried a new ceramic coating on a boiler tube bundle, the heat transfer was way off from what the spec sheet said.

Spec sheets are always a best-case scenario... real world conditions never match the lab. It's like getting half the gas mileage they promise on a new truck.

Ugh, tell me about it. I'm the same way, just plug it in whenever there's an outlet. Beth147 is right, it's a total joke how fast they die. My last one was shot after like two years, wouldn't hold a charge for an hour.
