I used to hate spoilers, but our last meeting changed my mind.
Hearing all angles with spoilers made the debate much richer.

But like, are we really having heated book club talks about spoilers? Seems a bit much.

Nah it happens more than you'd think. Last month two people almost came to blows over who really died in that new murder mystery. If someone spoils a huge twist, like a fake death or a secret villain, it totally wrecks the book for everyone else. You gotta set a hard rule up front, no spoilers until the final meeting.
