I used to think audiobooks don't count as reading, but 60 hours of 'Project Hail Mary' during my commute changed my mind completely.
Has anyone else here flipped on that debate after actually giving an audiobook a real shot, or is it still a hard no for your book club?

Audiobooks make bad books tolerable since you don't realize how boring the writing is.

Used to be a total snob about it too honestly. But then I listened to one road trip with a friend who had a great audiobook going and I was like okay I get it now. Changed my whole view on it.

Oh man, Project Hail Mary on audio is practically cheating because Ray Porter is just that good. I used to be such a snob about audiobooks until I realized I was just jealous that someone else could "read" while stuck in traffic and I couldn't.
