Watched my own corner miter go from gappy to clean in 3 practice runs after I switched to a fresh blade
I was cutting my leather corners with a blade I'd been using for 6 weeks, and the gaps at the tips were driving me nuts. Swapped in a new blade on a whim before a practice run Tuesday night and the corner laid down flat on the first try, then the next two after it. How often are you all changing blades, because I clearly waited way too long.
Same thing happened to me with vinyl. I kept blaming my technique and then finally swapped the blade and it was like night and day. Now I just swap every few weeks instead of trying to squeeze every last cut out of one blade.
