Can we talk about people using AI to write their dating app bios

I swear I matched with 3 people last week who had bios that read exactly the same robotic way. Like they all used the phrase 'I enjoy exploring new cuisines and spontaneous adventures' which nobody actually says lmao. The giveaway is when every sentence starts with a verb and there's zero personality. I ran one through a detector out of curiosity and it came back 87% AI generated. Has anyone else noticed how obvious these bios are getting?

Isn't it just the worst when you can tell someone didn't even try? My friend Sarah matched with this guy who had a bio that said he loved "curating meaningful experiences and seeking authentic connections." She was like, what does that even mean. Turns out his whole profile was AI and he couldn't hold a real conversation about anything except crypto. She unmatched after he tried to send her a copy-paste pickup line about "our algorithmic compatibility." It's like, come on, just say you like tacos and hiking like a normal person.

Honestly though, isn't there something kind of smart about using AI to filter out people who can't handle a little tech in 2024? If someone's willing to put work into making a profile sound interesting, that shows more effort than the dudes who just write "I like dogs and pizza" and call it done. Tbh, maybe Sarah missed out on a guy who just wanted to skip the boring small talk and actually talk about real stuff like where tech is headed.
