My wife swore her coworker was a bot for 6 months, then I read the chat logs myself
My wife works at a medical billing office in Toledo and she kept saying this one coworker named Dana had to be an AI. Every message was perfect, no typos, always replied in under a minute, and the replies were weirdly complete. I finally asked to see the chat history and went through about 200 messages one night. Dana never once asked a follow up question, never mentioned her weekend, and signed every message with the same closing line word for word. The thing is, the punctuation and phrasing were exactly like a template I had seen from a customer service bot at my old job. Turned out Dana was a real person who just used canned responses because she was juggling two jobs. Has anyone else seen a real human type so robotically that you were sure?

My old office had a guy named Steve who signed every email "Best regards, Steve" at 3am, and I was convinced he was a script until I met him at a holiday party. It made me stop assuming fast replies mean a robot.
