Stood in line at a DMV in Sacramento and the guy ahead of me answered 4 questions like a chatbot
Every answer came out in the same flat rhythm with no ums or pauses, and he never once looked at the forms in his hand. I know it sounds nuts but has anyone else clocked a stranger like this and been sure something was off?

Same flat rhythm" got me, used to roll my eyes at this stuff.
