Went to a coffee shop in Denver and half the customers gave me bot vibes

Used to shrug this off, you know? Thought people were just being dramatic. Then I sat next to a guy at a coffee shop in Austin. He ordered, then just stared at his phone for 20 minutes without blinking. Not scrolling. Not reading. Just staring. Paid with exact change. Walked out without his drink. Pretty sure he wasn't even human. Changed my whole take on these posts.

Yeah the "staring at phone not blinking" thing got me too. I started timing myself with a coffee shop test - order a black coffee, sit down, and just watch people for 10 minutes. Found three others doing the exact same robotic stare within a week. Now I just leave if I see that.
