Fell for that fancy soil pH meter on Amazon
I spent $60 on a digital pH meter after reading all those glowing reviews. It gave me wrong readings for 3 months before I finally checked it against a cheap test kit and realized I'd been over-acidifying my blueberries the whole time. Anyone else get burned by a gadget that just didn't work?

Read that cheap test kits are actually MORE reliable than digital ones.

Makes sense, I've noticed simpler things often work better than the fancy expensive versions.
