This week I fell for a fake AI video about eggs lasting 6 months

Saw a clip on Instagram where a guy showed how to keep eggs fresh for half a year using some weird wax coating. Spent 20 minutes going back and forth with my sister about whether it was real until she finally asked me to check the comments and everyone was saying it was deepfake nonsense. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you almost bought into something completely fake?

Oh man, I've been there too. I almost shared one of those "shocking" clips about kitchen hacks with my whole family before I double-checked it. It's scary how good these fakes are getting, but at least you caught it before spreading it everywhere.
