Why does nobody talk about how the 'NPC livestream' trend ate 6 days of my life trying to figure out if it was a bit
I kept seeing those fake AI livestreams where someone just stares and blinks for hours, so I spent 6 days last week trying to find ONE original creator who started it all, and I still cannot tell if the first one was a joke or a real person having a breakdown, so does anyone actually know where this thing came from?

Six days is wild for something that barely even has a punchline. The whole thing was probably a bit from the jump, because the deadpan stare is the joke, not some sad guy actually zoning out on camera for tips. Look at the ones that blew up, the blinking on schedule, the fake "glitches," the way the chat spams slurs and donos at a guy doing nothing, the format is built to mess with you. There is no deep original creator to find, it just snowballed from random streamers copying each other for easy views. You got played by the same trick the trend runs on, which honestly might mean it worked.

It's the same energy as when you waste an hour reading reviews for a $12 phone case and still can't tell if the 5 stars are real. The bit isn't the stream, it's the search itself, and you fell in the way everyone does.
