That $60 boot scraper finally made me stop stomping on scaffold

I spent years knocking mud off my boots on the scaffold toe board, and it ruined two pairs of work boots before I bought a proper scraper for $60 at a masonry supply place near Columbus. At first I thought it was nonsense, but after one week of using it on the job site, my boots stayed clean and my footing on the planks felt way more solid. The steel teeth dig out the packed clay without bending, which surprised me. Has anyone else found that a small tool like this saves more on wear than you'd expect?
