Finally hit 50 hostel stays and my whole packing list changed

I started counting hostel nights back in 2017 on a trip through Portugal and just passed 50 last month in a place outside Prague. That milestone made me realize I was still hauling a 40 liter bag with stuff I never touched, so I cut it down to 25 liters and saved about $30 in baggage fees per flight. Anyone else hit a number like that and suddenly simplify everything they carry?
