Got scammed by a 'discount bus' in Bangkok, now I check the tires before I pay
Last month I hopped on this cheap ride to Chiang Mai for 300 baht, and it broke down 40 miles out because two tires were bald as my head. Now I walk around the bus and peek at the treads before handing over cash, anyone else do a quick vehicle check on budget transport?
