I finally caught the fake airport wifi scam in Madrid

Last month at Barajas I connected to a network named 'FreeAirport_WiFi' instead of the official one, and within 10 minutes my bank app logged me out and a $250 charge showed up, so does anyone else check the exact network name before logging in now or am I just paranoid?
