Chasing that $3.99 rotisserie chicken for a month straight

I used to think the grocery store loss leaders were a scam until I planned a whole week of meals around the $3.99 chicken at Kroger in Fresno, and my total food bill dropped from $110 to $78, so has anyone else seen a real dent in their budget from just checking the weekly ad before you shop?
