I thought discount meat was risky, but my last dinner proved me wrong
Always bought my chicken from the big name store, figured it was safer. Grabbed a pack from the budget market on a whim because it was half the price. Cooked it up with some rice and veggies, tasted just as good, no lie. Saved like eight bucks on that one meal alone, which is crazy. Now I'm rethinking all my grocery choices, lol.

You ever worry about the quality difference long term, or is the price drop just too good? Eight bucks adds up fast, especially these days. Curious if you'll try their other stuff now.

The "try their other stuff now" bit reminds me of my roommate's pasta sauce switch. He got the store brand once and now won't go back, says the big name stuff is too sugary. Makes you rethink what's actually worth the extra cash.

Man, you're right about eight bucks adding up. I used to turn my nose up at discount meat like I was some kind of food critic. Then I realized my bank account was judging me harder than any restaurant review. Tried the cheap chicken once and felt silly for overpaying all those years. Now I'm all in on the budget stuff, as long as it cooks up safe. My only worry is if I'll start judging my friends who still buy the expensive brands, lol.
